Denise Messick
I am a wife, mother of two, grandmother of three, and a proud aunt who found my calling in life as a postpartum doula. The question “What can I do for humanity today?” has been ever-present in my life. The best way I can contribute is by nourishing and nurturing families at the most integral time in life — when babies are born and families evolve.
Philosophy
A family’s foundation is formed during a child’s first days, weeks, and months. This can be a challenging time for parents as they grow into parenthood. I nourish families by providing emotional, physical, and mental support for parents, children, and pets to give them their best beginning.
Training
I volunteer as a Board Member of Northwest Association of Postpartum Support (NAPS), a local certifying Postpartum Doula organization. This gives me the opportunity to be involved in the community and strengthen postpartum support in the Puget Sound Region.
